For me each type of reiki or healing energy system has a very different flavor or feeling to it.
Usui reiki is hot in temperature and it feels like I am standing under a waterfall of pure clean energy. It feels like it is coming in to my being through the top of my head. It is how I have always felt Traditional Usui Reiki. This is one of the first forms of healing that I experienced, outside of me pulling the sickness/pain/dis-confront into myself for others to feel better.
Then I heard about Celtic Reiki and found a lady to send me more information on that. I received my attunement in Celtic Reiki and that to me feels like it comes up through the Earth into my feet and fills me up that way. I feel very grounded and centered and strongly connected to the trees that are around me. This reiki system is not as hot as Usui in temperature. It is more like a warm summer breeze blowing through the trees in the woods. Sometimes when I am doing a Celtic Reiki session and I close my eyes, as I know and trust that the energies go where they are needed, I can hear the wind blowing through the trees. Sometimes it is like I am in the woods enjoying the warm summer breeze blowing through the trees and listening to the way trees communicate with everything. It is truly a magical experience for me.
I found White Dragon Reiki next. I have a strong connection and love for dragons in my personal/spiritual life, so when I found this system, I was over joyed. When I first felt the White dragon, she was doing her primary cleansing of myself so that I could be cleansed and pure to be attuned to the White Dragon Reiki system. When I channel this system it is hot, very hot! It is like standing in an inferno of fire, but the flames don’t burn you. It reminded me of how the Liz in the movie Hell boy movie was when she let her fire go. It also felt like it came from my heart and throat centers. I would also get very thirsty and need even more water than I normally do.
The others reiki/energy systems that I am attuned to are not as intense as these 3 systems, like the elemental reiki is a swirl of the elements around me that fills me up with the energies of the elements to do the healing. Light of Truth reiki feel like a light glowing in a dark room and you can see everything that is your truth. Oneness Reiki feels like you are connected to everything and one with it all. Silver Violet Flame Reiki is pretty in coloring. It looks and feels like purple fire with silver swirls within that fire. Also, it is not even as hot as Usui reiki. So, each are unique and have their own “Reiki personalities” that I love about them. I recommend to at least have a session to experience the differences.
